Mandi Kane

Mandi Kane is a self-declared expert in mistakes.

Professionally, she helps companies avoid or fix them. Personally, she writes stories about characters who make, embrace, and learn from their mistakes.

Mandi currently works as a communications consultant and it’s her 15+ years of experience in PR, including time as a vice president at a global agency, that led her to write her first book, "So, You F*cked Up: A Pep Talk for When You’ve Made a Mistake." She also speaks around the country about the power of embracing mistakes, especially for young professionals, and the importance of cultivating workplaces where employees are empowered to make and move on from them.

When not helping clients prevent or navigate f*ck ups, Mandi is a novelist and screenwriter penning snarky tales about ambitious women trying to balance love with their demanding careers.

Learn more about Mandi and her writing on her website, and follow her journey to be the first 40-year-old woman to be crowned Miss TN USA.

So, You F$&#ed Up: The Power of Embracing Mistakes & How to Prevent and Navigate Them

As a publicist for a global public relations agency and a self-declared 'expert' in mistakes, Mandi Kane has seen (and survived) her fair share of professional f*ck ups. She's learned that embracing mistakes and cultivating workplaces that empower employees to make and move on from them, is good for everyone.

If you've ever felt paralyzed by a mistake, or are tired of overanalyzing them when they happen, Mandi is going to give it to you straight. Mistakes happen. When we can prevent them, we should. But, when they inevitably happen, her advice will help you embrace the experience, learn from it, and move on productively and professionally.
