About Us

Founded in 1922, the Junior League of Nashville is one of the oldest, largest and most effective women’s volunteer organizations in our city. Today, it has grown to 1,500 members who are focused on collaborating for meaningful community impact in Middle Tennessee. 

 

Over the past 100 years, the League has contributed millions of hours of direct volunteer service and millions of dollars toward serving women and children in the Nashville community. It has been instrumental in founding more than 20 nonprofits and programs, including Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, Nashville Children’s Theatre, Oasis Center, Renewal House, Children’s Services at the Nashville Public Library and many more. The Junior League of Nashville is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.
