Casey Santos

Casey Santos is, quite literally, a retired rocket scientist. Her career has taken her from NASA to Nashville and she has served as a Senior Executive, CIO, and Independent Board Director. She advises innovative startups and growth-stage companies such as Zoom, Box, and Moveworks, on how to catalyze growth, efficiency, and evolution. 
Casey has pursued operational excellence through innovative technology and process improvement in everything she has done. She brings a unique perspective that combines expertise in strategy, technology, cybersecurity, finance, mergers and acquisitions, investment due diligence, risk management, organizational design, operations, cybersecurity, and technology. At the heart of her expertise though is the unending desire to create forward-looking digital solutions that address present challenges and anticipate future needs. And her non-profit involvement underscores her commitment to providing education and opportunities for young people in technology in underrepresented communities.


Casey bridges the worlds of business and technology, gaining buy-in and driving transformative change through innovation via the adoption of cutting-edge technologies such as Generative Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics, Analytics, Automation, and Cloud Solutions has significantly enhanced customer and employee experiences.


Casey holds a B.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT, an MBA from the Wharton School, and an MA in International Studies from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to being the Board Chair of the Nashville Technology Council, Casey formerly served on multiple non-profit boards She has twice been awarded honors as a HITEC (Hispanic Information Technology Executive Council) 100 as well as the Constellation Research Transformation 150.
