Nikki Walker

Nikki Walker is a dedicated and results-driven leader with extensive experience in program management, education, and community engagement. As the Executive Director of East Nashville Hope Exchange (ENHE), she spearheads strategic initiatives, program development, and fundraising efforts to enhance literacy and education opportunities for underserved communities.

With a background in education and nonprofit leadership, she has successfully developed and implemented impactful programs at organizations such as the National Museum of African American Music, PENCIL, and YMCA. Her expertise spans program development, volunteer recruitment, relationship building, and strategic partnerships, all aimed at driving meaningful community impact.

Nikki is deeply committed to dismantling barriers to educational access and ensuring every student has the tools to succeed. Through strategic partnerships and innovative educational approaches, she tackles systemic challenges within local schools and communities. Her participation in the Racial Equity in Arts Leadership program, hosted by Metro Arts and the Vanderbilt University Curb Center for Art, Enterprise & Public Policy, underscores her commitment to fostering equitable change.

Driven by a passion for education, service, and progress, she leads ENHE with purpose while advocating for equal opportunities and empowering individuals to overcome barriers and achieve sustainable success.

Beyond her professional roles, Nikki is actively engaged in community service, serving on the PENCIL Emerging Leaders Board, and as a member of Nashville CABLE and the Junior League of Nashville. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Tennessee State University and a Master of Education in Organizational Leadership & Communication from Belmont University, both which equipped her with the skills and knowledge to lead impactful initiatives that promote educational equity and social change.
